Flesh & Root is a two-part series that explores the parallels between the human body and the life cycle of flowers. The works reflect on growth, youth, beauty, aging, and decay as interconnected stages of existence. The contrast between youthful hands holding a living blossom and aged hands holding a withered flower reveals time's effects. The soft vitality of youth gradually gives way to visible signs of age, suggesting that beauty is not permanent but part of a larger natural cycle. Through this relationship between flesh and flower, the series considers the shared vulnerability of all living things and the inevitability of change.
